Our story
From a canal towpath to the platform
Hi, I’m Cat, and I own Nomad Coffee Co.
Nomad wasn’t part of a grand plan. When Covid hit, I was made redundant from a career I’d spent years building in international events. Instead of sitting still, I bought a coffee van and parked it on the side of a canal in Manchester. Early mornings, cold hands, and a lot of learning on the job.
That little van taught me everything. People don’t just come for the coffee. They come for the hello, the familiar face, the five minutes of normal before the day starts.
Fast forward a few years and Nomad now serves commuters at Worcestershire Parkway and Redditch stations. We’re independent, we’re local, and we’re proud to be the first stop on so many of your journeys.
To everyone who’s grabbed a flat white on the way to the 07:12, stopped for a chat, or told a friend about us: thank you. You’re the reason we’re still here.
